Every year in September the famous “Oktoberfest” starts and is hosting around 6 Million people in Munich.

Save the date: Date 19th. of September until 4th. of October 2009

Oktoberfest München:

The audience is coming from all parts of the World but more than 60 % of the people come from Munich ( 3,6 Mio.) approx. 72 % from Bavaria and these people join the festival at least for one day or two!

1 Million people attend from other countries whereby 17 % of these come from Italy ( 170.000 ), the US 14 % ( 140.000 ) and New Zealand 2 % which is 20.000 people.

This year the spirofrog online jobboard booked 50 seats in the famous “ochsenbraterei” a tent where real “ox” is served in combination with nice Spaten #Beer !

The japanese entertainment giant NINTENDO just released a new game called “Nintendo Oktoberfest” where traditional games like ” Finkerhakeln ” and other Bavarian Sports are played on the consoles!

Yes, the japanese love the Oktoberfest!
