Twitter, MorganStanley, IPO ´s and Mergermania
A 15 Year old Morgan Stanley “summer intern” was quoted in the famous british newspaper the Guardian back in July stating that Twitter is not for teens – but it might be for their parents if Twitter would Go Public . Twitter´s users are on average 34-36 years old (male) and they could sell their shares to more than 50 Million users -mainly from rich countries! US, Germany, UK ..
@facebook they even could sell shares to 300 millions users as like I stated in my Blog
Some weeks ago Twitter Inc. raised a nice 100 million dollars – one of the Investors beeing MorganStanley – 800 Pound Wall Street Gorilla
Is MorganStanley in a ” buy in” for it´s IPO?
Here´s my 5 cents – ( I am an EX MS guy from London! )
- markets are up (See Nasdaq Chart below – qqq )
- Tech is in
- Twitter is cool – having potential 50 million users / shareholders and “multiplicators” via TWITTER
- Tech mergers are hitting the Street every day, Oracle, Sun, Cisco, Amazon, Xerox…Facebook or today Compuware with a 300million $ deal
- the IPO window is open – today the spanish bank Santander raised 5 billion in Brasil
and people love stocks
